About Us

We are a team of highly skilled and experienced trainers who are dedicated to providing excellent Sexual and Gender Based Violence Prevention and Relationships and Sex Education training

What we do

Our work with HE Providers

We design and deliver specialist programmes of live, interactive and discursive workshops for staff and students in higher education settings. We are committed to preventing sexual harassment, violence and misconduct in Higher Education and equipping staff and students with the skills and resources they need to respond to disclosures with compassion. You'll find more information about our HE training and workshops here.

Our work with schools

We provide comprehensive and engaging Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) and Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) prevention training to teachers and other professionals who work with young people. Whether you want to upskill staff who are already delivering RSE or introduce members of your team to the topic for the very first time, our training is accessible, non-judgmental and interactive. There more information on training programmes for schools page.

Teacher training

Our training is informed by our collective experience working and delivering training in a range of settings including gender-based violence services (Rape Crisis, Refuge, Women and Girls Network, Victim Support), Crown Courts, education, academia and research, local authority, third sector and private sector organisations. Across the team we have delivered a wide range of sexual violence training at LSE, UCL, KCL, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Guildhall, BIMM, mandatory staff training at Goldsmiths and mandatory student workshops at UAL and Cambridge University.

Our wealth of knowledge and experience of working directly with young people means we know the issues that they face and our training equips staff to tackle those topics sensitively and effectively.

Who we are

We are a team of specialist facilitators who bring over a decade of experience from the SGBV and RSE fields. Collectively we have worked for multiple leading organisations within RSE and Sexual and Gender-Based Violence Prevention sectors including Brook, Rape Crisis, Refuge, Spectra, and Women and Girls’ Network.

Our experience working in hundreds of schools, colleges, universities, and youth organisations across the UK facilitating RSE workshops gives us true insight into the issues that young people face. With our extensive experience providing student-facing sessions as well as teacher training, parent engagement and consultancy on holistic approaches, we are in an excellent position to provide staff training that is relevant, accessible and meets young peoples' needs.

Leading our team of expert facilitators, are our co-founders:

Our approach

Safeguarding-centred

Our primary aim is to promote young people’s safety and wellbeing and we know comprehensive, age-appropriate RSE is essential to support that aim. We also know that it’s impossible to create a safe learning environment if there is a culture of harassment, bullying or violence. Underlying all our work is a commitment to supporting schools to provide the best possible environment for teaching RSE, so young peole feel safe and supported enough to flourish.

Evidence-based

We ensure all our sessions provide attendees with accurate and evidence-based understanding and insight into the topics covered. We will bust common myths and misconceptions about relationships and sex, ensuring participants leave feeling confident to engage with young people about the topics most relevant to their relationships and sexual lives.

Trauma-informed

In every learning environment there are people who have experienced trauma. All manner of one-off or chronic traumatic experiences, such as abuse, bereavement, discrimination and illness impact our ability to focus, engage and learn. We ensure our sessions are inclusive and accessible to those experiencing the consequences of trauma and deliver training on how you can too.

Engaging & accessible

All too often fun, interactive and participatory sessions are saved for young learners, and professional training is reduced to lectures with PowerPoints and yet another set of targets or responsibilities for them to undertake. We believe no one out-grows the benefits of practical, creative and interactive learning so we ensure our training is fun, stimulating, and accessible to a range of learning styles.

We had a fantastic facilitator, so engaging, considerate and friendly. She had a great demeanor with both students, teachers and other professionals. She has always been organised, reliable and professional, but manages to still be approachable and unshockable. When faced with complex questions or situations, she tackles everything with calm, kindness and a sense of humour.
